Axio NYC (“we”, “us”) operates axionyc.com. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site, why, and who else is involved.
We do not sell personal information. We do not run user accounts, comments, or a newsletter on this site.
Who we are
Axio NYC is an IT managed service provider and brand agency based in New York City. You can reach us at hello@axionyc.com.
What we collect, and why
When you simply read the site. Our analytics record the page you viewed, the site or search that referred you, your approximate location at country level, your device type, browser and screen size, your language setting, and technical performance timings such as how long the page took to become usable. This is used to understand which pages are useful and where the site is slow.
When you use the chat assistant. The assistant is called Omni and runs on our own infrastructure. It receives the messages you type. If you ask it to pass something to us, it also receives whatever contact details you provide, typically a name and an email address, and sends them to us by email.
Please note: to generate replies, your messages are sent to OpenRouter, which routes them to a Google Gemini or OpenAI model. Do not type anything into the chat that you would not put in an email to a stranger. No passwords, card numbers, or confidential client information.
When you email us. If you use the contact link, you are sending an ordinary email and we hold it the way we hold any correspondence.
Server logs. Our web server records standard access logs including IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and user agent. These are used for security, abuse investigation and diagnosing errors.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our own analytics (Umami, self-hosted) does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
Google Analytics does set cookies. See the third parties section below.
Who else is involved
Some of these run on infrastructure we operate ourselves. Others are third parties who receive data as part of delivering the site.

How long we keep things
Analytics data is retained for as long as it is useful for understanding site performance. Chat conversations and any enquiry you send us are kept as business correspondence. Server logs rotate on our host’s normal schedule.
Your choices
- Analytics: most browsers offer a Do Not Track or tracking-protection setting, and ad and tracker blockers will block the Google tag. We do not override them.
- Cookies: you can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
- Your data: email hello@axionyc.com to ask what we hold about you, to ask for a copy, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. We use a web application firewall and bot protection on our forms. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top.
